Dr Felicity Newman teaches in the School of Media, Communication and Culture at Murdoch University in Western Australia. Felicity is available for lectures, talks or comment on food, film and popular culture.
She teaches: FDN102 Food For Thought, a first year Foundation Unit that introduces students to university skills and the terrain of food studies.
MCC284 Food, Media and Culture examines the role of media in setting the agenda for our food behaviours and debates.
Her research areas include Food Studies, Sustainable foodways, Film Studies, Gender Studies, Jewish Food and Popular Culture.
